Just How Often Should You Get A Facial?

Questions crop up form those concerned with their skin and how often should you get a facial?
Facials are great and safe to get once per month. However, if this doesn't fit a busy schedule or budget, a winter, spring, summer and fall clean up of the skin is recommended for the purpose of exfoliation. The skin doesn't shed the cells as fast as when we were in our teens and early 20's. A facial helps to remove the dead cell build up that leaves our skin dull and lifeless. A facial keeps our skin looking young and vibrant throughout all seasons. And...your skin will feel smoother, creams will penetrate better and your makeup will look flawless!

We have many types of skin treatments for different skin types. No two people are the same. Skin treatments aren't cookie cutter. Call and book your facial now. Your skin will thank you!

Is it selfish to have "Me" time?

Fall is coming quickly upon us and the kids are back to school. We spend a lot of family time during the summer months. Maybe you have taken a son or daughter back to college. Or maybe you spend a lot of time taking care of elderly parents. What ever the case, it is really hard to squeeze in the "Me" time. I am a firm believer in taking care of one's self. It's not as selfish or as frivolous as you may think. Self care doesn't mean going on an expensive vacation or spending a lot of money going to a destination spa. This could be as simple as reading a book, sitting with your favorite drink or walking in the park. Some other examples would be to have lunch with a friend, going to a movie, getting a manicure, pedicure, facial or make over at your favorite salon (hint hint!)
What ever you choose to do for your "Me" time, enjoy and savor the moment. These moments are to precious and it's difficult to get them back.
