What to do and what not to do for the best waxing experience.

  • Avoid indoor tanning and the sun 72 hours before and after waxing services.

  • The nails are a breeding ground of bacteria. Do not touch waxed areas because this could cause breakouts.

  • Do wear sunscreen daily.  A 30-50 SPF is recommended.
  • If you are pregnant, take birth control, or antibiotics your skin may be more sensitive to waxing services.
  • Do not wax if you are using Retin -A (you must be off 2 full weeks) or on Accutane or have stopped using Accutane less than one year ago.

  • Do not wax if you have recently gotten Botox or collagen injections in the last 7 days.

  • Do not wax if your skin is sunburned or irritated.
  • Avoid hot showers or baths 4 hours before facial waxing and 24 hours after facial waxing.  Use only tepid or cool water.
  • We do not do brazilian wax on men.
  • MEN...  bring a clean white cotton t-shirt for chest or back waxing.

  • WOMEN... wear loose fitting pants and cotton underpants for bikini and brazilian waxing.
  • Do wait 72 hours to exfoliate. After 72 hours you may lightly exfoliate with a gentle exfoliating wash, loofa sponge or facial brush.

  • Do moisturize after waxing and often when bathing or showering with a moisturizer that does not contain mineral oil.

  • Refrain from exercising right after waxing. Avoid gyms, hot tubs, swimming pools and saunas up to 24 hours after waxing.

  • Do drink 6-8 glasses of water per day to keep the skin hydrated.

  • Do ask questions if you don't understand any of these.

  • Do ask how you can save by pre-purchasing waxing packages.
  • Do ask about our take home products to continue the waxing experience for several weeks after.
