- Avoid indoor tanning and the sun 72 hours before and after waxing services.
- The nails are a breeding ground of bacteria. Do not touch waxed areas because this could cause breakouts.
- Do wear sunscreen daily. A 30-50 SPF is recommended.

- If you are pregnant, take birth control, or antibiotics your skin may be more sensitive to waxing services.

- Do not wax if you are using Retin -A (you must be off 2 full weeks) or on Accutane or have stopped using Accutane less than one year ago.
- Do not wax if you have recently gotten Botox or collagen injections in the last 7 days.
- Do not wax if your skin is sunburned or irritated.

- Avoid hot showers or baths 4 hours before facial waxing and 24 hours after facial waxing. Use only tepid or cool water.

- We do not do brazilian wax on men.

- MEN... bring a clean white cotton t-shirt for chest or back waxing.
- WOMEN... wear loose fitting pants and cotton underpants for bikini and brazilian waxing.

- Do wait 72 hours to exfoliate. After 72 hours you may lightly exfoliate with a gentle exfoliating wash, loofa sponge or facial brush.
- Do moisturize after waxing and often when bathing or showering with a moisturizer that does not contain mineral oil.
- Refrain from exercising right after waxing. Avoid gyms, hot tubs, swimming pools and saunas up to 24 hours after waxing.
- Do drink 6-8 glasses of water per day to keep the skin hydrated.
- Do ask questions if you don't understand any of these.
- Do ask how you can save by pre-purchasing waxing packages.
